A PURPOSEFUL ADVENTURE OF DISCOVERING YOUR CALL AND EXPERIENCING GOD IN THE NATIONS.
ABOUT THE COURSE
The Asia Internship Program (AIP) is a purposeful journey for those who want to avail themselves for one full year to explore missions in Asia. It is structured for those who want to be involved in missions but don’t know where to start. One-to-one coaching is provided all throughout this journey, to help you craft goals and practically work towards them, while processing each stage.
Firstly, deepen your relationship with God and spiritual foundation as a disciple of Christ with a DTS, which is designed as an intensive and immersive missions training. (find out more here) After this, you will be equipped with practical skills required for effective engagement in diverse cultural contexts. You will then go for a 5-month field internship in a location of your choice, where you will explore, serve and learn alongside more experienced missionaries.
PROGRAMME COMPONENTS
PHASE 1: DTS
The Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a transformative journey of deepening your understanding of God and relationship with Him, and discovering your unique role in the Great Commission. (Find out more here)

PHASE 2: BMT
The Basic Missionary Training (BMT) is a 4- week equipping that prepares you to engage in cross-culture work among Unreached People Groups. Topics include DiscipleMaking Movement, Biblical Foundations of Missions, to Fundraising and Member Care.

PHASE 3: FIELD INTERNSHIP
Put your training into practice, contribute meaningfully to your chosen mission, and experience first-hand what it means to partner with God, by His Spirit.

PHASE 4: DEBRIEF
Reflect, rest, and be ready for re-entry into your home culture. Emerge from the program clearer and more equipped for your journey beyond!

- Applications must be submitted at least 2 months prior to the starting date of DTS.
- Fees include cost of training and accommodation in Singapore, and airfare to/from the field internship. However, it does not include airfare between Singapore and your home country, visas, medical/travel insurance and personal expenses.
- Applicants must pay for each phase prior to its commencement.
- In some mission fields, specific expertise may be required in areas of healthcare, education, business, and/or other relevant spheres of competence.
